Features
Built for the way work actually happens.
Bagpipper is the Viremail suite as a proper Mac app, with Krodium and the Store built in, and a set of desktop features no browser tab can match.
Q4 plan, final draft
Morning all,
Attached is the final draft of the Q4 plan with the numbers we agreed on Friday. The hiring section now matches the budget, and the launch dates line up with the calendar I shared in Vire.
If there is nothing by Wednesday, I will send it to the board.
The Viremail apps
The same apps your team uses on the web, signed in once. New features reach Bagpipper the moment they ship, with no update to install.
Private email with no ads, on your own domain if you like. Drag attachments straight out to Finder.
Vire
Chats, calls and groups for the whole team. Answer a call or reply from the notification.
Calendar
Your days and plans, with reminders that arrive even when the window is closed.
Tasks
Boards and to-dos that sit next to the mail that created them.
Notes
Quick notes, kept in sync between your Mac and the web.
People
One address book for mail, calls and chats.
Drive
Your files and folders, and a synced Viredrive folder on your Mac.
Write
Documents, written together in real time.
Grid
Spreadsheets that do the sums for you.
Deck
Presentations, made simply and shared as a link.
Forms
Forms and surveys, with answers in one place.
Pintas
Posts, flyers and cards for your brand, without a design team.
Personal
Your job, time, pay, documents and policies, in one private place.
Leads
Enquiries and customers, from first message to signed deal.
Billing
Orders, invoices and payments.
Rota
Shifts and timesheets for teams that do not sit at desks.
Only on the desktop
The reasons people keep Bagpipper open all day.
Notifications that work while it is closed
Mail, Vire, calls, reminders and shares arrive as native notifications, chosen app by app. The unread count sits on the Dock.
Clipboard history
Press Shift-Command-V for everything you copied. Press Enter and it pastes into the app you were in. Encrypted on your Mac and never sent anywhere.
Quick compose
Control-Option-M opens a small compose window over whatever you are doing, so a reply never costs you your place.
Viredrive on your Mac
Your Drive as a two-way synced folder. Save into it from any app and it is in Drive a moment later.
Vault at your fingertips
Shift-Command-Space finds a password or sign-in code from anywhere. Copied secrets clear themselves from the clipboard.
DeepClean
System health, a task manager and a careful cleaner that always asks before it moves anything to the Bin.
App lock
Lock Bagpipper with a passcode or Touch ID, and have it lock whenever your Mac does.
Your default mail app
Email links on any website open a new message in Bagpipper. It can open at login, quietly, if you want it to.
Launch
Landing pages that sell, published in minutes.
Vault
Passwords and sign-in codes, with a screen scanner for two-step codes.
Krodium
The browser comes with it.
Krodium opens in its own tabs inside Bagpipper, with a start page of big site icons, your work sites and regional business news.
- Its own sealed spaceEvery Krodium tab runs in a sandbox kept apart from your Viremail session, cookies and storage.
- A blocker you controlOne switch turns on blocking for ads and trackers, using well-known open lists refreshed every day.
- Bring your browser with youImport bookmarks, history and open tabs from Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Firefox or Safari. Cookies are never copied.
- Signs you in safelyKrodium fills and saves logins from your Vault, and your bookmarks and history sync end-to-end encrypted.
- Music follows youWhatever plays in Krodium shows a small player in the header, so you can pause it from any app.
The small things, done properly
Each app in its own window
Pull Calendar out next to Mail, or keep everything in one window. Bagpipper reopens where you left off.
Command-1 to Command-9
Jump between apps from the keyboard. Command-N starts something new in whichever app you are in.
Works without a connection
A checked local copy of the suite means Bagpipper opens even when the Wi-Fi does not.
Calls that feel native
Share your screen, and see what viewers draw appear over your real screen. Your display stays awake during a call.
Careful with downloads
Files are never opened automatically and are marked as coming from the internet, so macOS checks them first.
Right-click like you mean it
Native context menus, spellcheck as you type, and Find in page with Command-F.
